I see Senator Barack Obama is now President-Elect Barack Obama. At last, America did the right thing. Not even Jeb Bush's Diebold machines nor the arcane electoral college system could keep such a landslide out. Fantastic! Now Obama has a chance to turn the US around from the war-mongering, wasteful, polluting, downright nasty image it has acquired, to get back to the shining beacon of hope it once aspired to being. I live in hope. Let's put the Bill of Rights back together. Freedom & Justice are nothing if they're not universally and equally applied. Let Humanity & humaneness be the defining features of this administration. Let's get back to people looking at America as an example of how to do things, rather than a military force that makes an example of other nations. Let them be the Republic, not the Empire, the Jedi, not the Sith.
