Bartender!

I've been customising my Warcraft UI quite a bit lately. I installed Bartender 4, which allows you to resposition the button bars etc on the screen, make them see-through, disable them, make them unresponsive to clicks in certain circumstances, dynamically assign hot-keys to them, all sorts. With my feral druid, I've installed a number of button-saving macros, disabled all but two toolbars but kept the hotkeys which I'm used to using with him. The remaining toolbars are at around 50% alpha too, right at the bottom of the screen with no extraneous graphics or crap, and the XP bar is up on the top line of the screen and shrunk down to about half size. The result is the cleanest most functional UI I've ever seen. Everything is still easily available & accessible & some of the macros are spammable combat jobs that allow me to go leaping about around my opponents while only having to keep hitting one key till they die. It so simplifies everything.

I've got Call of Duty: World at War for my birthday, but I haven't yet played it. It's hard to get time when my son isn't about, to do so - it's an 18 cert game & he's nearly 6. I'm toying with the idea of having my own private wii upstairs in the computer room. Might save him leaving my disks out to get scratched & smudged. At least he can't mess up my Warcraft.

As summer comes on I think I'll do more in RL, outside. I'm planning on cultivating vegetables in my back garden, using organic techniques. I'm going to try to get as much peas & beans & potatoes as possible, maybe get some tomatoes growing on the patio in grow-bags. I want to rope the kids in on this, use it as a way to get healthy. I'm not well by a long chalk but I'm learning to recognise my NATs & try to come up with alternatives. I want this summer to be the summer Frank learns to ride his bike if possible.

One of my friends wasn't in world for my birthday party - my set rocked. Lots of other people were there though & though I missed her it was okay. Glad my oldest friends were there for me at least. I totally understand why she wasn't there & if it'd been me I'd have done the same, but still. Can't stop a person missing his mates, can you?

Smirnoff blue vodka rocks by the way - I drank probably 50cl on the night before my birthday & didn't have hardly any hangover. Nasty tasting stuff, but it's good when almost frozen so it frosts the glass when you pour. I am however going to try & not drink at all for 6 months starting this weekend.

I think I'm going to cut back further on SL too so I'm only on on Sundays. Eventually that will go too I think because I want to play WoW with my guild. Once I have Gorodetsky (my death knight), Enkidu (feral druid of course) and Skiamakhos (rogue) up to 80 they'll be doing instance raids most Sundays with the Nephilim on Kilrogg.

My experiment with Sciamachy Moran in Facebook, tbh, I think I'll get rid. It served its purpose when it was relevant. People can contact me that need to, if they wish, via email.
